Job Description

Join Our Team in Cleveland, TN! $60,000 - $70,000 annually We are seeking a detail-oriented, community-minded Home Inspector to join our growing team. This role blends technical inspection work, customer service, and sales-focused follow-up to help homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals make informed decisions about residential properties. If you have construction experience, knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and hold (or are pursuing) a Home Inspector certification/license, we want to hear from you. Expect:
Field-Based Work:
Majority of work performed on-site at residential properties across the Chattanooga area.
Variety & Learning:
Inspections will include structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems — every day is different.
Client Interaction:
Frequent direct contact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents; professional, friendly communication is essential.
Reporting:
Use company inspection software to create clear, photo-supported reports and deliver them within expected turnaround times.
Who You Are:
Technically Skilled:
Hands-on construction experience and familiarity with residential HVAC and electrical systems.
Certified or Licensed:
Hold (or be actively pursuing) a Home Inspector certification/license as required by state or national standards.
Customer-Focused:
Friendly, positive, and service-oriented—able to explain complex issues in understandable terms and build rapport quickly.
Driven & Self-Led:
Motivated to meet quality standards, follow schedules, and grow business through professional service and referral development.

Required Qualifications:
Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems. Proficiency with HVAC and basic electrical systems and the ability to evaluate common defects and safety issues. Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure. Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Comfortable working independently in the field and managing a schedule of inspections.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in home inspections, real estate, construction trades, or related fields. Experience using inspection software and basic computer skills (email, photo editing, reporting). Background in sales, client acquisition, or territory development.
