GED Full Job Description Position Summary:
The HOA Inspector is responsible for conducting routine property inspections within assigned communities to ensure compliance with governing documents, architectural guidelines, and community standards. This role helps maintain property values and community aesthetics by identifying violations, documenting findings, and communicating with management and homeowners as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections of residential communities, including homes, common areas, and amenities Identify and document covenant violations (e.g., landscaping issues, exterior maintenance, unauthorized modifications) Take clear, accurate photos and detailed notes during inspections Input inspection results into the company's management software in a timely manner Follow established policies and procedures for violation reporting and follow-up Coordinate with property managers regarding enforcement actions and re-inspections Conduct follow-up inspections to verify compliance Report safety hazards or urgent maintenance concerns immediately Maintain inspection schedules and meet productivity expectations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in property management, inspections, or a related field preferred Strong attention to detail and observational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic computer skills and ability to learn inspection/management software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to walk, stand, and drive for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong organizational and documentation skills Professional communication skills Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Ability to apply rules and guidelines consistently and fairly Dependability and accountability
Work Environment:
Primarily field-based position requiring travel between communities Outdoor work in various weather conditions May require occasional evening or weekend inspections depending on community needs Hours M-Fri 9-5pm
