AutoCad Designer-Growth Potential

Job Responsibilities:

Franklin Engineers & Consultants, LLC. (FE&C) seeks a talented AutoCAD Designer to join our growing environmental consulting firm in Pearland, TX. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Autocad, the flexibility to support a 30%-40% travel schedule, strong documentation skills, and a desire to grow. The Ideal Candidate is only limited in their opportunity to grow by their desire. Assist with the preparation of permit-level, construction-level, and as-built drawings via Autocad. This will include the ability to develop site plans, details, and, when necessary, P&IDs/PFDs. Assist with the design of pipe networks for Landfill Gas Collection and Control Systems under the direction of an engineer or other experienced project professional. Provide Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) monitoring assistance in support of Gas Collection and Control System or other types of construction projects as indicated below: Observe contractor during field installation of piping Documentation of approved field changes Documentation of Preconstruction meeting minutes Pictures of key components of construction installation Preparation of Daily logs to document construction events Assist construction personnel with documentation onsite materials for construction Preparation of Certification Reports to document construction Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Ability and desire to work on non-construction projects, as well. Construction/construction quality assurance experience preferred, not required Extremely proficient with Autocad Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and Word Excellent documentation skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Flexibility to Travel 30%-40% of the time Willingness/ability to assume increased responsibilities when presented with them Ability to meet job requirements/requests to achieve deadlines and contribute time needed to do such FE&C is a growing environmental engineering firm with a team-oriented environment and competitive benefits (medical dental, 401K matching, Flexible Spending Account, etc.).
