Job Description We are seeking a Senior Facilities Professional to join our clients Building Envelope Consulting team. In this role, you will lead forensic investigations and provide expert guidance on building envelope systems, helping clients identify root causes of failures and implement long-term solutions. You will partner closely with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure envelope systems are designed and installed to meet code requirements, performance standards, and industry best practices.
- Lead forensic investigations to identify failures in building envelope systems, including waterproofing, roofing, cladding, and glazing
- Diagnose root causes of leaks, moisture intrusion, and structural degradation
- Review construction documents and details for compliance with codes and manufacturer specifications
- Perform on-site diagnostic testing (e.g., water spray testing, air barrier testing)
- Conduct site observations and provide quality assurance during construction
- Prepare clear, detailed reports with findings and recommended solutions
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve envelope issues
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
- Support business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations

- 5+ years of experience in building envelope consulting
- Experience with forensic investigation techniques
- Experience with field testing: water spray tests AND air barrier assessments
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications or licenses in building envelope consulting:
- IR•infrared•ASTM standards experience OSHA 10,20,30
