As we grow, we're looking for a certified home inspector who is confident, communicative, and committed to providing exceptional service. Position Overview We are seeking a certified Home Inspector to join our team as a full-time, client-facing professional. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in home systems but also excels in communication, empathy, and professionalism. You will play a key role in helping clients feel informed, reassured, and confident during the homebuying or selling process. Responsibilities Perform home inspections in accordance with industry and company standards Communicate findings clearly and calmly to clients and real estate agents Adapt communication style based on client needs (first-time buyer, investor, seller, etc.) Treat each inspection as an opportunity to build trust and long-term relationships Maintain a professional appearance and vehicle (company vehicle may be provided) Follow inspection protocols while ensuring the highest level of client experience Collaborate with office staff and team members to support the full client journey Encourage client advocacy through online reviews and referrals Requirements 2+ years experience as a residential home inspector. Active home inspector certification (InterNACHI or ASHI required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong emotional intelligence and ability to adjust communication style Professional appearance and behavior Ability to access attics, crawl spaces, roofs, and maneuver in tight areas Tech-savvy and detail-oriented Commitment to non-alarmist, client-centered education Clean background check Preferred Traits Prior background in real estate, construction, or property services Strong time management and organizational skills Team player mindset with a willingness to help across roles Compensation Competitive base pay (Pay is commissioned based after training: $50-70K/yr) Company vehicle provided Training and advancement opportunities Clear pathway for growth within the company
