Duties Perform detailed inspections of construction activities to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand project requirements and technical details. Conduct quality control and quality inspection procedures throughout various phases of construction projects. Collect and analyze data related to construction progress, materials, and safety measures to ensure standards are met consistently. Monitor construction site activities, including pipeline installations and other specialized infrastructure work, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols. Document inspection findings accurately through reports, photographs, and detailed records; communicate issues promptly for resolution. Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and design teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless project execution. Skills Extensive knowledge of construction processes, site safety practices, and quality assurance techniques. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to construction projects. Proven experience in construction inspection, including pipeline projects or similar infrastructure work. Excellent analysis skills for evaluating data collection results and identifying potential issues early. Familiarity with contracts management and understanding of construction management principles. Ability to perform thorough quality control inspections with attention to detail across multiple sites. Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating with diverse teams.
