Job Description
Hill International is seeking a Resident Engineer in Seattle Washington Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field. 10-20 years of relevant experience. Optional Certifications may include PMP, PE, DBIA and/or any other relevant professional license or certification. Performs resident engineering responsibilities as outlined in scope and construction manual. The salary range for this position is $185,000 - $240,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location. Manage and direct RE staff (CMC/DBPM) in performance of tasks as described in the client's construction manual and/or other documents. Assure and document training that all
CMC/DBPM
staff understand and meet the subject contract requirements. Act as the focal point for all correspondence received from and sent to the subject project's contractor. Respond to the subject project's contractor correspondence with assistance from staff. Conduct all weekly construction progress meetings and other project related meetings. AssignCMC/DBPM
inspectors to cover the work of the subject project(s) contractors when they are working on contract work. Assure inspector performance and documentation of CMC inspectors. Monitor subject project contractor's compliance with its own safety programs and ensure thatCMC/DBPM
complies with the safety policies. Identify potential change issues, develop and track change notices, change orders, negotiate changes as described in the construction manual. Review, comment, and approve or disapprove inspector IDR's, contractor progress payments, contractor construction schedules, NCR's, and contractor safety and security certification submittals. Complete other client required contract close out procedures including the transition from construction to operations forms.Similar remote jobs
