We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused operator with experience working in construction, marine construction, site work, concrete work, and heavy civil environments. The ideal candidate must have current NCCCO crane operator certification and the ability to safely operate cranes in accordance with company policies, project requirements, and all applicable safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate cranes on construction job sites Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns Read and understand lift plans, load charts, site conditions, and project requirements Work closely with supervisors, riggers, signal persons, and other crew members Safely lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and structures Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements Maintain awareness of site hazards, overhead obstructions, underground utilities, ground conditions, and surrounding personnel Assist with general construction duties when crane operation is not required Maintain accurate inspection logs and equipment records as required Report any incidents, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately Requirements Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification required Previous crane operating experience in construction required Willingness to travel is required Marine construction, heavy civil, concrete, or site work experience preferred Ability to read and understand load charts and lift plans Knowledge of rigging, signaling, and safe lifting practices Must be safety-focused, reliable, and able to work as part of a team Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and perform physical labor as needed Valid driver's license required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Qualifications Strong communication skills Good judgment and attention to detail Ability to follow directions from supervisors and project managers Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to assist crews with other job site tasks when needed Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday Overtime may be required based on project needs Projects are located all over
