Job Description

Schedule:
Monday-Friday Hours based on project needs Job Description We have a client looking for a dependable Crane & Material Handling Assistant to support crane operations and material handling activities on roofing job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience working around cranes, forklifts, and construction equipment and be comfortable working outdoors in an active job site environment. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading materials Support crane operations and material movement activities Operate or assist with forklift and material handling equipment Work around cranes while following established safety procedures Assist with rigging and securing loads Maintain organized material staging areas Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly Follow all company and job site safety requirements Requirements Experience with forklift operations, including tow motors and telehandlers (Lull) preferred Basic knowledge of rigging Experience working on commercial construction job sites General knowledge of material handling procedures Familiarity with safe work practices and job site safety Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the day Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Preferred Qualifications Experience working around cranes Forklift certification Construction or industrial labor experience
