Jacksonville, FL Job Details Full-time $38.50 - $41.50 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications CDL B Teamwork Crane Certification CDL A High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crawler Crane Operator to manage crane operations for lifting, moving, and placing heavy materials on construction sites. Experience with tilt-wall construction is a strong plus. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards, proper equipment handling, and effective teamwork. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a crawler crane to lift, transport, and position materials and equipment. Perform thorough pre-operation inspections of the crane, rigging, and lifting accessories including slings, cables, and straps. Ensure all lifts are performed within the crane's rated load capacity and according to lift plans. Work closely with riggers and ground personnel to execute lifts safely and efficiently. Support and assist with tilt-wall panel lifting and placement when required. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific procedures. Perform routine equipment maintenance and promptly report any mechanical issues or concerns. Inspect and verify that all rigging gear is in safe working condition prior to use. Comply with proper lockout/tagout procedures during servicing or unsafe conditions. Promote a strong safety culture by leading through example and encouraging team compliance. Qualifications Current NCCCO certification (required) Minimum of 2 years of crawler crane operating experience Tilt-wall construction experience preferred (a plus) Valid CDL Class A or B license High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a drug screen, physical/fit-for-duty exam, and background check Strong knowledge of crane safety standards and operating procedures Clean driving record required
