Company Overview Leesburg Concrete Company, Inc. specializes in producing high-quality architectural precast concrete products, including cladding, precast buildings, stairs, ramps, and custom concrete solutions. With a focus on precision and safety, we deliver and install engineered concrete components for a variety of construction projects. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to run a Grove RT90 rough-terrain crane at our Leesburg, FL precast plant. This position supports daily plant operations by safely lifting, moving, loading, and unloading wall panels and preassembled buildings. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, experienced with heavy lifts, and comfortable working closely with riggers, drivers, production crews, and supervisors. Duties Operate a Grove RT 90 rough-terrain crane safely and efficiently during plant loading and unloading operations. Load and unload precast wall panels, preassembled buildings, and related materials. Direct and communicate with riggers, spotters, truck drivers, and plant personnel using clear hand signals or radio communication. Conduct routine inspections of cranes and related equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Perform basic daily maintenance, housekeeping, and upkeep of crane. Follow load charts, lift plans, plant procedures, and all applicable safety requirements. Assist with general yard or plant duties when crane work is not active. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge of crane systems and heavy equipment operation Proven experience with rough terrain/mobile cranes, safe lifting practices, and load charts. Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and effectively Experience with rigging communication, inspections, and basic crane maintenance. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and operational efficiency NCCCO and OSHA training.
