Part-Time Crane Operator in Akron, Ohio We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Part-Time Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy machinery and materials at construction sites. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane, operating controls to lift and move materials, and following safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator
• Valid crane operator certification
• Ability to operate different types of cranes (mobile, tower, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe operation of cranes at all times
• Perform routine inspections on the crane before each use
• Operate controls to lift, move, and position materials according to instructions
• Follow proper rigging techniques when attaching loads to the crane
• Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and inspections
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines on site
• Perform basic maintenance on the crane as needed

Salary:

The salary for this position is $900 per week for part-time work. Additional compensation may be provided for overtime hours.
