Akron, Ohio, USA We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads in construction and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate crane according to safety regulations and procedures.
• Inspect crane before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on crane as needed.
• Communicate with other team members to safely and efficiently complete tasks.
• Interpret load charts and signals from riggers to determine appropriate lifting methods.
• Use hand signals or radio communications with riggers to control the movement of the load.
• Ensure that all materials are properly secured before lifting.
• Keep accurate records of daily operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator.
• Valid crane operator certification or relevant license.
• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for crane operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret load charts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
