Crane Operator We are currently hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Akron. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials. This is a physically demanding job that requires excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
• Inspect equipment before use and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Plan and execute lifts based on load size, weight, and other factors
• Maneuver materials using levers, pedals, buttons, or other controls
• Communicate with ground crew to ensure safety during lifts
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Keep accurate records of daily operations and report any issues or incidents to supervisors

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a crane operator (minimum 2 years)
• Valid crane operator certification or license (state or national)
• Knowledge of crane operation techniques and safety regulations
• Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
