Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating cranes and heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure efficient workflow, adherence to safety standards, and successful project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Responsibilities Operate cranes and heavy equipment such as boom trucks, excavators, backhoes, and forklifts with precision and safety. Rig loads properly using rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting operations. Handle materials efficiently across construction sites, warehouses, or shipping & receiving areas. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related machinery to identify potential issues before use. Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow on-site. Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Requirements Valid certification as a Crane Operator from an accredited program or authority. Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Experience in construction site environments with familiarity in rigging, materials handling, and heavy machinery operation. Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts, boom trucks, backhoes, excavators, and warehouse machinery like shipping & receiving tools. Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols. Commercial driving license preferred for transporting equipment between sites or warehouses. Prior experience with construction projects or related fields such as warehouse operations or shipping & receiving is highly desirable.
