Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid ste driver's license time of appointment. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. Qualificions Who May Apply:

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. There is no specific length of training or experience required. Minimum Qualificions (Screen Out Element) : Ability to do the work of a Crane Operor (TC-H) ~ without more than normal supervision. Perform the common tasks of a crane operor to include opering bridge, boom, or gantry of cranes, reading and understanding load charts, calculing maximum safe loads, and conducting maintenance and minor repairs on cranes. Work experience is accomplished under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible ring.
Physical Efforts:
The operor pushes, pulls, and depresses levers, brakes, clutches, etc. requiring considerable strength and keen hand/eye/foot coordinion. Climbs ladders and regularly lifts and carries supplies, hooks, cables, and rigging weighing up to, and occasionally over, 45 pounds. The operor is subject to constant vibrion while the crane is in operion. Must have normal vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed both inside and outside the powerhouse. Exposed to high noise levels, dust fumes, he, cold, and clime extremes. There is danger of serious injury or deh from improperly opered cranes, contact with high voltage electricity and the danger of drowning when working above swift moving wer. Spends long periods in cramped quarters, and is exposed to possible injury from swinging loads or crane overturning. Must wear approprie safety equipment and protective clothing, and successfully complete and maintain all occupional health requirements.
