Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Crane Operator, where you will play a vital role in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials safely and efficiently across various construction sites. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate state-of-the-art crane equipment, ensuring projects progress smoothly while adhering to safety standards. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will be key in supporting large-scale building endeavors, contributing to the creation of durable structures and infrastructure. Responsibilities Operate cranes. Safely lift, lower, and position materials including concrete mixers, tankers, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery. Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane equipment and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Coordinate with ground personnel to execute precise lifts and placements of construction components. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and safety checks throughout each shift. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment for all team members. Assist with setup and dismantling of crane operations at different site locations as needed. Skills Proven experience operating cranes in a construction setting with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery including Caterpillar equipment, concrete mixers, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and tankers. Valid commercial driver's license with experience driving front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar vehicles. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret mechanical diagrams related to heavy machinery. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and site managers effectively. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
