Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate cranes and heavy equipment to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of materials across construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that projects stay on schedule while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to large-scale construction endeavors, making a tangible impact on infrastructure development. Operate cranes with precision, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications to lift, move, and position heavy materials such as concrete mixers, steel beams, and prefabricated components. Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of crane equipment and other heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to plan lifting activities and execute them efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and safety audits. Assist in setting up work zones by positioning heavy equipment like dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tanker trucks as needed for various construction tasks. Follow all safety regulations related to construction site operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards. Support other heavy equipment operations such as loader operation, bulldozing (dozer), water truck handling, or tankers when required for project needs. 2 Shifts (day /night) Requirements Valid certification as a Crane Operator with proven experience operating various types of cranes in construction environments. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with building processes and safety procedures. Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and front loader trucks. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy vehicles like dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or tanker trucks. Hands-on experience operating additional construction machinery such as backhoes, loaders, excavators, and farm equipment. Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics related to crane operation and maintenance.
