Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a valid, OSHA NCCCO Certified Crane Operator, with at least 3 years experience. The ability to clam would be highly desirable. We are a General Contractor building and refurbishing Municipal Water Plants, Wastewater Treatments Plants, and Lift Stations. We have been in business for 55 years. In this vital role, you will operate crawler cranes and rough terrain cranes and related machinery to lift, move, and position materials with precision and safety. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale construction endeavors. Responsibilities Operate various types of cranes, crawler cranes and rough terrain, to lift and move heavy materials across construction sites. Perform rigging duties to secure loads safely before lifting operations. Handle materials using forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment to support construction activities. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure safety standards are met. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by loading and unloading materials at job sites. Maintain clear communication with ground personnel to coordinate lifts and ensure safe operations. Follow all safety protocols, including proper rigging procedures and site safety regulations, to prevent accidents. Requirements Proven experience operating cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, or excavators on construction sites or industrial settings. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks. Strong understanding of rigging techniques and materials handling procedures. Construction site experience combined with warehouse or shipping & receiving familiarity is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site managers. Pay:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
