Crane Operator Mortenson Construction paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Texas, Pampa May 01, 2026 Crane Operator SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Crane Operator that will be responsible for operating cranes as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a variety of cranes following prescribed safety regulations
Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area
Perform routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction
Follow work plans and pre-task cards
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Minimum three (3) years related experience in trades specific to job requirements or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver steering wheel to operate cranes; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; knowledge of cranes and their uses; basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)
Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, ability to work independently, active listening skills, and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback
Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
•Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
