; Observes load hook up and determines safety of load. ; Manipulates crane controls to reguulate speed and direction of crane and hoise movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions. ; Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism(s). ; Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervision of defects/malfunction. ; Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment and supplies. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and work pieces during installation. ; Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment. ; Safely operates crane and hoist mechanism(s); plans and coordinates crane movement and set up. ; Four (4) years minimum industrial construction crane operation experience preferred.
