Job Description
Job Summary Massive Services LLC is seeking a motivated Underground Utility Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with underground utility installation and maintenance by operating around heavy equipment, performing manual labor, and supporting construction site activities. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in utility construction and infrastructure work. Duties & Responsibilities Spot and assist heavy equipment operators including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks during excavation and utility installation work Support pipe-laying operations using pipe lasers and blueprint reading to ensure accurate utility placement Assist with utility locating and underground pipeline installation Perform trenching, backfilling, and general excavation labor Conduct plumbing and utility connection tasks as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety procedures Inspect tools and equipment regularly for safe operation Collaborate with team members on construction site activities and daily project tasks Assist with site cleanup and material handling Required Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures Ability to work around heavy equipment safely Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of blueprints and construction plans preferred Knowledge of underground utility installation processes is a plus Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions Experience Requirements Construction experience: 2 years preferred Underground utility experience: 1 year License/Certification Valid driver's license required CDL Class A preferred Join Massive Services LLC and help build essential infrastructure throughout the Melbourne area.
