Leadership Full Job Description Overview:
Barrow Power is looking for an experienced and dependable Directional Bore Foreman / Driller to lead underground utility installation projects using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) methods. This role involves supervising crews, operating drilling equipment, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate directional drill and locating equipment to install underground utilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the drill crew Interpret job prints, plans, and utility maps to ensure accurate bore paths Perform site prep, potholing, and utility locating Maintain drilling equipment and ensure job site safety and compliance Communicate with project managers and inspectors to resolve issues and keep jobs on schedule
Requirements:
2+ years of experience operating HDD equipment (Ditch Witch or Vermeer preferred) Strong understanding of underground utility installation and locating practices Proven leadership skills in managing field crews Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Ability to travel locally and work in varying outdoor conditions
