Full Job Description Job Overview:
Operate directional drilling and locating equipment while ensuring all work complies with safety and installation standards. Focus on safety, efficiency, and cost management while collaborating with team members to follow company procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate various equipment including directional drills, locators, mini excavators, and trucks. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment. Understand utility depths and ensure proper placement of utilities. Plan and follow bore paths accurately while excavating safely around existing utilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
3-5 years of experience as a directional drill operator/locator. Strong knowledge of utility installation techniques.
Preferred:
Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
