Job Description

Responsibilities Operates horizontal directional drilling equipment in accordance with blueprints and designated plans Installing 500 - 1,000 feet of conduit in a typical workday Maintains equipment per manufacturer's specifications and safety guidelines Assisting in potholing, remediation, setting hand holes and pulling fiber Keep good records, as built drawings and complete daily site inspections Requirements Knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practices Able to read blueprints/underground utility plans/redlines and interpret work assignments Adheres to directional drilling best practices Knowledge of job site safety practices Able to work in trenches, manholes, tunnels and confined spaces and in work settings with moderate to loud noise levels Able to move in different positions - crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted Willing to work overtime when required Willing to travel and to work in all-weather conditions Self-motivated and able to work well in groups Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years working with Vermeer or Ditch Witch DDD, or equivalent required 2 years working in telecommunications industry Must have a
CDL Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA10 safety card certification is required. (If applicant does not hold an OSHA10 certification, Centerline Communications LLC will pay for computer-based training with applicant completing on-line course within 5 days of hiring on their own. Certification is the property of the applicant.) This pay range for this position is 35-45 Hr., pay is based on experience and location.
