Job Description:
DMY Engineering Consultants (www.dmyec.com) has an immediate opening for a Driller's Helper in Gaithersburg, MD. Applicants should be individuals who enjoy working outdoors, do not mind getting their hands dirty and shows up on time daily. The Driller's Helper will assist the Lead Driller in operating the rig, gain experience in general rig maintenance, collection of soils samples, and learn the basics of sampling for geotechnical investigations.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to immediately pass a drug and background screening. Position is subject to random screenings as well.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • The candidate must be at least 21 years of age (due to insurance requirement)
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office daily
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs. consistently and perform repetitive motions
  • Willing to work occasionally out of town or over weekends
  • Must be willing to work outdoors Generous compensation and benefits package.
