Job Description
Environmental Field Operator - Well Drilling and Geoprobe Drilling We are currently looking to hire Environmental Drilling Operator to learn our trade to develop long term, stable employment. We are seeking ambitious, safety conscious and reliable team members. You will work with engineering clients to collect soil and water samples, install monitoring wells, and help with other activities to aid in the monitoring and protection of groundwater. Duties will include; driving, operating a probing rig (less than 26,000lbs), communicating with clients, vehicle maintenance and repair, assisting with the operation of drilling equipment and other miscellaneous but related tasks. These are full time, year round positions with benefits. Advancement is highly encouraged and available. This is a safety sensitive position.
Job Requirements:
- Willing and able to work outdoor year round.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Pay rate increase upon acquisition of CDL license.
- CDL financial assistance program available.
- Routinely lifting up to 50lbs. Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Work overtime when necessary. Occasional out of town work.
- Being mechanically inclined and familiar with hand tools.
- Geoprobe drilling or assisting is a plus.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
