Drill Operator

We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators with strong HDD (horizontal directional drilling) and underground utility experience. This role supports installation of fiber, telecom, gas, water, and sewer systems using trenching and drilling methods. Experience in directional drilling operations is strongly preferred. What You'll Do Operate HDD / directional drilling equipment Support underground utility installation for fiber, telecom, gas, water, and sewer Perform trenching, digging, grading, and backfilling Assist with bore operations, setup, and jobsite preparation Locate and protect existing underground utilities Hand dig/pothole around live utilities when required Operate additional equipment such as excavators, skid steers, trenchers, and hydro-vacs What We're Looking For 1+ year experience in HDD, underground utility, or excavation work Experience in directional drilling strongly preferred Background in fiber, telecom, gas, water, or sewer construction Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record Ability to read utility maps, prints, and job layouts Strong focus on safety and utility damage prevention Must pass background check and drug screening
