Directional Drill Operator/Locator

Directional Drill Operator/Locator ACP Fiber Services is a national provider of professional communication services to the telecommunication and utility industry for network infrastructure buildouts and ongoing network maintenance. We are looking for a Directional Drill Operator/Locator with experience working underground utility construction for full-time work out of our Pineville NC office. Job Responsibilities Operate equipment as JT10/JT20, Plow/Trencher (DW410), excavator, skid steer. Cable handling and pipe laying Carry and load materials to be used on the job Operate small hand tools Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment Direct traffic and kept worksite safe. Wash and clean equipment and vehicles Train to operate heavy equipment Drive company vehicle to and from job site Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License with satisfactory record Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain Willing to work overtime as required Previous experience in cable/utility installation preferred Class A CDL preferred (Higher wage offered to Class A CDL holders) Must be physically able to endure the daily activity involved with the job Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Must be able to work in all weather conditions
