Job Description

is Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Driller or Assistant Driller, where you will play a vital role in executing drilling operations for environmental projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and construction tools to support environmental assessments, groundwater monitoring, and remediation efforts. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling machinery, assisting with site preparation, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the field of environmental drilling while contributing to impactful projects that protect our environment. Responsibilities Operate drilling rigs and material handling equipment Assist in setting up drilling sites by preparing access roads and securing work areas using appropriate construction equipment Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on drilling machinery and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety Support the installation of monitoring wells, soil sampling points, and groundwater extraction systems following project specifications Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations during operations to prevent accidents and minimize environmental impact Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics for transporting materials such as dump trucks and other construction vehicles Maintain detailed records of daily activities, equipment usage, safety checks, and site conditions for project documentation Experience Prior experience operating DPT, auger, and rotary drill rigs is highly preferred Construction site experience with familiarity in environmental or geotechnical projects is advantageous Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial Valid commercial driver's license is a plus Experience working on environmentally focused projects involving drilling is desirable Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites ensures a secure working environment for all team members This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop technical skills while contributing meaningfully to environmental stewardship. Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
