This role involves working in various ground conditions and requires collaboration with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Operate horizontal directional drill rig and provide training and assistance to coworkers
- Adhere to all manufacturer operational procedures and industry safety standards
- Perform maintenance of equipment fluid levels, etc.
- Understand various ground conditions: rock, clay, sand, cobble, etc.
- Operate excavation equipment
- Perform routine labor (potholing, equipment setup, conduit, duct, cable placement, set pedestals) as required
- Possess experience operating a utility locator
- Assure all located utilities that are in the construction path have been potholed
- Follow job blueprints provided by manager
- Ensure cleanliness of job sites
- Work efficiently and complete work in a timely manner
- Ensure accountability of all tools and materials Requirements
- Must have valid driver's license - Class A CDL
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers
