Driller Operator Pay Rate:

$30.00 - $32.00/hour,

DOE Job Type:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, non-exempt

Job Description Javelin Utility Services Inc. is searching for a HDD Driller Operator to join us in our Springfield, Oregon office. As an HDD Driller Operator, you will be working alongside the Drill Locator and crew to complete drilling, tie ins, setting boxes, and pot holing, plus additional work.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 years of related drilling experience with Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch A valid, unrestricted driver's license (Commercial driver's license preferred but not required) Knowledge of mud mixing and drilling safety Telecommunications construction experience preferred Able to lift/carry 70 lbs. regularly Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas Be able to read and understand schematics and construction prints Manage troubleshooting problems as they arise in the field Be able to Load and unload materials and equipment Manage all tools and equipment Complete occasional underground activities, such as proof and place cable/fiber in conduit Must have excellent communication skills Safety focused - setting up and maintaining safe work environments Ability to work in all weather conditions
