Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Water Well Driller to join our dynamic construction and water infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to install, repair, and maintain water wells across various sites. Your expertise will help ensure the safe and efficient completion of well projects, supporting community water needs and environmental sustainability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery and contribute to vital infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Operate drilling rigs and associated heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks to perform well drilling operations efficiently. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal drilling locations and prepare the site for drilling activities. Manage the setup and breakdown of drilling equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operation. Assist with the installation of casing, screens, pumps, and other well components as needed. Maintain detailed records of drilling progress, equipment maintenance, and site conditions for project documentation. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to drilling machinery and perform basic repairs when necessary. Follow all safety guidelines related to construction sites, heavy equipment operation, vertical drilling techniques, and environmental protection standards. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, tankers, and water trucks. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record for operating large vehicles like dump trucks and tanker trucks. Hands-on experience working on construction sites with familiarity in vertical drilling processes. Knowledge of heavy equipment machinery and general construction practices is highly desirable. Ability to operate specialized equipment including graders, water trucks, dozers, loaders, and backhoes. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in dynamic settings.
