Job Description:
Job Overview As a Quotations Specialist in Houston, TX, you'll be responsible for managing manufacturing and maintenance orders for oil and gas equipment. Your primary focus will be tracking orders, obtaining pricing from suppliers, developing cost estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and order expediting. Key Responsibilities Order Management- Process and track domestic and international customer orders from receipt to completion
- Enter orders into company systems and maintain accountability for all customer requirements
- Expedite orders as needed to meet customer deadlines
- Coordinate with vendors, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop accurate quotations
- Manage order changes, returns, and cancellations efficiently
- Identify potential issues early and take corrective action to prevent delays Customer Service
- Respond promptly to all customer requests and follow up with definitive answers
- Develop and manage customer quotations, including pricing and delivery terms
- Coordinate technical assistance when needed Internal Coordination
- Work closely with planning, procurement, production, shipping, and warehouse staff
- Maintain and update the intercompany price book
- Update and maintain customer orders in the organization's ERP system
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve order issues Compliance & Quality
- Adhere to company's safety, security, and compliance policies
- Maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of work
- Follow financial policies and procedures for all transactions Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of procurement, planning, or supply chain experience (preferably in oil and gas industry)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Material Resource Planning and Demand Resource Planning
- Understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Preferred
- Experience with JDE, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or other ERP/CRM systems Additional Information Travel requirement: Up to 10% #LI-KP1
