Job Description

Envirotech Drilling Services is seeking a Driller to oversee and be responsible for completing work in the field timely; in addition to being responsible for a crew. Envirotech Drilling Services is the market leader for environmental drilling in Houston. We have expanded into the San Antonio & Dallas markets. We have been in business since 2011 and succeed by taking care of our clients and employees. We are looking for experienced drillers to help us continue our company growth. Qualifications At least two years' operating drilling rigs using direct push and hollow stem auger (HSA) drilling tools. Mud rotary drilling and air rotary drilling experience is also a plus. Active CDL driver's license is required. Experience with setting monitor wells and plugging monitor wells using Hollow Stem Auger or direct push rigs. Responsibilities The person hired for this position is responsible for operating the drilling rig. Supervision of the drilling crew in the field. As the most senior member of the field team, this individual is required to communicate with the operations team in the office. This person is also responsible for oversight of the safety of the drill crew. The driller is also expected to communicate maintenance concerns. The driller is responsible for communicating with the operations team regarding job progression, concerns, obstacles, etc. to leadership. This individual is responsible for ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner. Responsible for real-time decision making in and out of the field. Must have a positive level of professionalism when interacting with clients and team members. Requirements At least 2 years of Environmental or Geotechnical drilling experience A valid CDL driver's license is preferred and clean MVR. Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and hair follicle test. Must be willing to travel 50+% of the time Monday - Friday. Requirements A range is provided; however negotiable
