Full Job Description Foundation Pier Drill Rig Operator Location:
Midland, TX Job Type:
Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Foundation Pier Drill Rig Operator to operate a truck-mounted drill rig for drilled pier and deep foundation construction projects throughout Midwest. The ideal candidate will have experience drilling foundation piers, caissons, or drilled shafts and be capable of safely operating and maintaining drilling equipment while leading a small field crew. Responsibilities Operate truck-mounted foundation drilling rig. Drill foundation piers, caissons, and drilled shafts to specified depths and diameters. Read plans and understand drilling requirements. Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance. Maintain drilling logs and job documentation. Lead and work alongside drill helpers and laborers. Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with company safety policies. Assist with rig setup, teardown, and transportation. Coordinate with project supervisors and contractors on site. Qualifications Required 2+ years of drill rig operating experience. Experience with foundation pier, caisson, or drilled shaft construction. Valid class B commercial driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work.
