This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with heavy equipment, assist experienced drillers, and gain hands-on experience in the field. Your enthusiasm and mechanical aptitude will contribute to safe, efficient drilling activities that provide critical data for engineering and construction success. This is an entry level position with allot of room for growth to learn a skilled trade. Responsibilities Assist lead drillers in setting up and operating drilling equipment, and other heavy machinery Support the movement and positioning of equipment such as dozers, backhoes, and water trucks on sites Conduct routine inspections of tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Help prepare drill sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, equipment usage, and site conditions Collaborate with team members to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project timelines All other necessary training can be provided on the job. Requirements Mechanical knowledge with an interest in heavy equipment operation and construction processes Valid drivers license with reliable transportation. Clean driving Record preferred Hands-on experience working on construction sites or with heavy equipment preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork Basic understanding of geotechnical and environmental drilling techniques and related tools is a plus. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.50 per hour
