In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints Finish drywall joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a seamless surface Install additional wall components such as insulation, framing, and soundproofing materials as needed Read schematics and blueprints to ensure precise placement of drywall in alignment with design plans Perform repairs on damaged drywall surfaces including patching holes or water damage restoration Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes efficiently Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco finishes, and perform related tasks like door hanging or fixture installation when required Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation within construction sites or remodeling projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation Skilled in plastering, taping, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces to professional standards Familiarity with construction plumbing, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry, and tile laying is a plus Ability to work safely at heights and handle heavy materials with proper safety protocols in place Prior experience with restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or water damage repair is advantageous Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to exciting construction projects!
