Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Skilled Tradesman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will bring your expertise across a wide range of trades to ensure the successful completion of diverse projects. Your proactive approach, technical proficiency, and attention to detail will contribute to building high-quality structures and maintaining safety standards on-site. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks. Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently across various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, and concrete finishing. Perform construction site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Install and repair building components including doors, windows, cabinets, trim carpentry, stucco, drywall, and glass. Conduct fabrication work for custom structures or fixtures using appropriate materials and techniques. Execute tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, and remodeling projects. Assist in construction management activities such as estimating costs, scheduling work phases, and coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, welding or related fields with a strong understanding of construction processes. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; familiarity with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus. Skilled in operating power tools and heavy equipment safely on active job sites. Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure quality control standards are met. Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing techniques, plastering, restoration work, and hardscape installation. Ability to perform precise measurements and interpret technical drawings accurately. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Ideal candidates will possess electrical experience and plumbing knowledge along with expertise in fabrication techniques such as welding or tile laying.
