Drywall Finisher Job Description Join our dynamic team working on a wide range of commercial construction projects, including banks, doctor's offices, hospitals, schools, and churches. As a Drywall Finisher, you will focus on hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall to achieve high-quality, smooth surfaces ready for paint and final finishes. Responsibilities Hang, tape, mud, and sand drywall to commercial-grade standards Apply joint compound, tape seams, and finish corners and edges Repair and patch drywall surfaces as needed Prepare surfaces for painting and final finishes Read and interpret drawings and blueprints accurately Work with metal stud framing and backing as required Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Utilize hand and power tools efficiently and safely Essential Skills Proficient in drywall hanging and finishing techniques 3-7+ years of experience in commercial drywall finishing Strong knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, and texture application Ability to measure accurately using tape measures Skilled in using hand tools and power tools Familiarity with commercial construction practices and jobsite standards Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with metal stud framing and layout Knowledge of different drywall types and finishing levels Ability to work from blueprints and drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
