Full Job Description Job Overview Job Title:

Skilled Craftsperson (Drywall & Remodeling Specialist)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, well-rounded Skilled Craftsperson with strong experience in drywall and residential remodeling. This individual will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and construction tasks, with an emphasis on drywall installation/repair and finish work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform drywall installation, patching, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to a paint-ready level Complete residential remodeling tasks including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and minor structural repairs Handle general repairs such as door/window installation, flooring repairs, and fixture replacements Diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions in the field Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within project timelines Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and clients as needed Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and building codes

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in construction, drywall, or residential remodeling Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques (tape, texture, smooth finish, etc.) Proficiency with common hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret basic project scopes or work orders Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in water/fire damage restoration or reconstruction Familiarity with painting, tile and flooring OSHA certification or other safety training

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Comfortable working on ladders, in tight spaces, and on active job sites
