Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Sheetrock Finisher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with expertise in finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and flawless surface. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively on various construction projects. Responsibilities Apply tape, joint compound, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces for a seamless finish Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets according to project specifications Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary adjustments Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Perform additional tasks such as caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects Experience Candidates should possess experience in the following areas: Construction estimating and site experience Blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics Proficiency in plastering, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and flooring installation Familiarity with water damage restoration, mold remediation, and airless paint spraying techniques Skills in metal stud framing, door hanging, tile laying, and fixture installation Previous maintenance person experience is a plus If you are passionate about delivering high-quality finishes and have the skills necessary to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.
