The ideal candidate has extensive experience in achieving high-quality finishes—including Level 5 finishes and smooth wall applications—and applying professional-grade paint systems in commercial environments. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams, joints, and imperfections Perform Level 5 drywall finishes for smooth wall and high-end applications Skim coat surfaces to achieve a uniform, smooth wall finish Sand and prepare surfaces for painting Apply primers, paints, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Match textures and finishes as required for repairs or new installations Maintain a clean and safe work environment Coordinate with superintendent and other trades on-site Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in commercial drywall finishing and painting Proven experience performing Level 5 finishes and smooth wall systems Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and techniques Experience with spray equipment and various paint systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders, scissor lifts or scaffolding Able to work nights and work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on commercial or high-end projects Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
