Hardie Siding Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in siding materials, construction techniques, and safety protocols will contribute to delivering exceptional results on every project. Duties Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately install siding materials such as fiber cement (Hardie), vinyl, or metal siding. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and framing to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality. Use hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install siding panels efficiently. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and prevent water infiltration around seams and joints. Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely while adhering to safety standards. Coordinate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to exterior wall systems and framing. Assist with related tasks such as trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, or remodeling projects as needed. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris regularly throughout the project. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding installation or exterior finishing projects. Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material quantities and project planning. Hands-on experience with roofing, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, or restoration work is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical schematics related to building exteriors. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, tile laying tools, and masonry tools as applicable. Prior handyman experience or general construction background is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation tasks. Experience working on construction sites with exposure to plumbing or concrete forming is advantageous but not required.
