Job Description

Service Technician / Finish Carpenter Join the Effingham Homes Service Team Effingham Homes is looking to add a skilled, detail-oriented Service Technician to our growing in-house service team. We have built our reputation on quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time. If you're the type of person who notices the small details others miss, enjoys solving problems, and isn't satisfied until the finished product looks great, we'd like to talk with you.
Responsibilities:
Interior finishing work on manufactured and modular homes Drywall repair, mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing Interior painting Vinyl siding installation and repair Roofing installation/repairs and related exterior work General carpentry skills Communicating professionally with homeowners and team members Maintaining the high standards that have earned Effingham Homes excellent customer reviews
Requirements:
Experience with drywall repair and finishing is
REQUIRED
Experience installing vinyl siding Experience with roofing and general carpentry Renovation/remodeling experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and professionally in customers' homes Reliable transportation to and from the Effingham Homes office/shop Valid driver's license
Additional Information:
Transportation from the office/shop to job sites is provided Travel is required. Job sites may be located anywhere within approximately 100 miles of Effingham Homes Full-time position, Monday through Friday Year-round work available Pay is based on experience and skill level Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their skills as part of the hiring process We are willing to train the right candidate in certain areas, but drywall finishing experience is a skill that applicants must already possess

Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
