Painting and Drywall Technician 1099 House Doctors of Naperville Naperville, IL Job Details $25 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Safety protocol adherence Sanding tools Drywall repair Driver's License Construction painting surface preparation Caulking Full Job Description Scion Reno is seeking dependable Independent Painting & Drywall Technicians (1099) for project-based residential interior renovation work throughout Naperville and the surrounding western suburbs of Chicago. We are looking for individuals who take pride in clean work, communicate professionally, and can operate independently once project guidance and expectations are provided.
Compensation:
$25-30/hr depending on experience, reliability, quality of work, and ability to work independently. (This pay range is non-negotiable)
Position Type:
Project-Based / Independent Contractor (1099)
REQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Minimum 2-3 years of residential painting and drywall experience preferred This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Applicants are
REQUIRED
to upload proof of active General Liability Insurance with their application to be considered. Experience with drywall patching, finishing, sanding, texture blending, prep work, caulking, and interior painting Must be able to produce clean finished work with attention to detail Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Must have basic tools required for painting and drywall work Must be dependable and punctual Strong communication and professionalism Comfortable working independently Must be honest about skill level and willing to ask questions if unsure how to properly complete a task Applicants must be willing to undergo a background check if selected for the position Must maintain a professional and safe work environment at all times. Working under the influence of drugs or alcohol while performing work is strictly prohibited.
Responsibilities:
Perform drywall repair, patching, finishing, sanding, and prep work Perform interior painting and touch-up work Protect customer homes and maintain clean job sites Communicate clearly regarding project progress and issues Work independently once scope and expectations are provided Deliver professional-quality finished work
