This job would provide services for the repair and maintenance of the building and fixtures comprising the building.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and paint walls and ceilings using primer and latex top coats per manufacturers instructions. Mix and prepare painting materials in accordance with manufacturers directions. Use stains, latex or oil based paints over primer if applicable on door and trim applications. Repair holes, wall cracks using drywall, tape and mud as needed. Install gypsum board, tape and mud wall sections and install corner bead and trim. Protect work and property of others, whether to be painted or not, against damage by painting or finish work. Be able to do emergency repairs to prevent injuries and unnecessary damage to village property. Be able to work efficiently with various tools needed to do maintenance work. Respond to all emergency situations as requested. Follow all safety rules and maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other Maintenance duties as assigned.

Experience:

Previous experience in healthcare, long term care, or other commercial finish construction helpful.
