In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth, seamless appearance that meets high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating polished interiors for commercial and residential projects, transforming raw structures into finished spaces. Responsibilities Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints with precision and efficiency Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to achieve a flawless finish, ready for painting or further decoration Install corner beads, trims, and other finishing accessories to enhance durability and aesthetics Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed instructions to accurately complete finishing tasks Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to ensure seamless project progression Perform touch-ups and repairs on drywall surfaces as needed during the finishing process Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal to promote safety and efficiency Skills Extensive experience in drywall finishing, plastering, and related trades such as taping and sanding Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Skilled in related construction disciplines including carpentry, framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, door hanging, and fixture installation Familiarity with water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general restoration industry practices Ability to perform construction painting using airless paint spraying techniques or traditional methods Experience with caulking, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, masonry work, plumbing (including construction plumbing), and water damage restoration processes Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites along with handyman skills like remodeling and general repairs This role is ideal for individuals passionate about craftsmanship who thrive in fast-paced environments.
