Interior Finish Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Finish Worker to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality finishing work on residential and/or commercial projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with drywall finishing, painting, and trim installation, and takes pride in producing clean, professional results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, and repairing surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready finish Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers while ensuring even coverage and clean lines Install and finish trim work, including baseboards, crown molding, door/window casings, and other decorative elements Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, and priming as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are handled safely Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in drywall finishing, painting, and trim carpentry Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to read and follow project plans or instructions Proficiency with hand and power tools related to finishing work Physical ability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in both residential and commercial construction environments Knowledge of different finishing techniques and materials Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations

Work Environment:

Indoor construction settings with potential exposure to dust and fumes May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project timelines
