Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Remodeling Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist with all phases of the renovation process, from initial tear-outs to final installations. A competent candidate possesses a solid foundation in basic construction trades, takes pride in precise craftsmanship, and maintains a professional attitude when interacting with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities Demolition and Site Prep :
Execute safe tear-outs of existing structures, walls, cabinetry, and flooring.
Material Management :
Load, unload, and organize building supplies, tools, and fixtures across the job site.
Carpentry Assistance :
Help install framing, drywall, insulation, cabinetry, doors, trim, and molding.
Surface Finishing :
Prepare walls and surfaces for final presentation through taping, mudding, sanding, and painting.
Job Site Maintenance :
Maintain a clean, debris-free environment daily to guarantee safety and protect client property.
Code & Safety Adherence :
Operate all power tools and equipment strictly according to OSHA standards and local building codes.
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience :
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, construction, or carpentry.
Technical Knowledge :
Strong understanding of general construction methods, tool operations, and structural materials.
Physical Stamina :
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
Equipment Proficiency :
Skilled in using basic hand and power tools safely (e.g., miter saws, drills, pneumatic nail guns).
Communication :
Excellent teamwork skills and a courteous demeanor when working in active client homes.
Self-Starting Initiative :
Proactively identifies the next task without waiting for constant direction.
Creative Problem-Solving :
Troubleshoots unexpected structural or material issues on-site quickly and efficiently.
On-Site Leadership :
Guides junior helpers and coordinates effectively with subcontractors to keep projects moving. Preferred Qualifications Possession of a personal basic toolkit and tool belt. Valid driver's license and dependable personal transportation. Specialized basic knowledge in tile setting, flooring installation, or basic plumbing/electrical fixtures.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
